Welders who pass your weld test.

You need welders who stand at the seam on day one and do not have to be trained first. We send you people with proven experience in MAG, TIG or MMA – tested at our site in Lithuania, with profile and certificate in advance, at your plant 5 to 10 working days after your confirmation.

Why welders are so hard to find

Welders belong to the vocationally trained occupations that German companies most often search for in vain, according to the DIHK skilled-labour report 2025/2026. The Federal Employment Agency counts 157 shortage occupations for 2025, many of them in metal, construction and trades. A steel fabricator looking for a certified MAG welder on the local market often waits months – paying overtime or postponing delivery dates in the meantime. Lithuania has a strong tradition in metal fabrication and shipbuilding; many of our welders have already worked in Germany, Scandinavia or the Netherlands and know the requirements of EN ISO 9606-1 and EN 1090.Sources: DIHK-Fachkräftereport 2025/2026 · Bundesagentur für Arbeit, Fachkräfteengpassanalyse 2025

Typical tasks

Series production in two shifts, one-off fabrication in the workshop or site welding (under a works contract) – we ask in advance what your job requires and assemble the profiles accordingly.

  • MAG welding (135)Assemblies and welded structures in structural steel: beams, frames, brackets, stairs, railings. Fillet and butt welds to drawing, from thin sheet to heavy plate.
  • TIG welding (141)Stainless steel and pipework: vessels, apparatus, piping systems, plant construction. Root passes, manual pipe circumferential welds, visual inspection of the weld.
  • MMA welding (111)Assembly and site work: structural steel on site, repair welding, work in constrained positions and in wind.
  • Preparation and finishingJoint preparation, tacking, fitting to drawing, grinding, straightening, visual inspection, marking.
  • Working to specificationReading and following welding procedure specifications (WPS), weld sequence plans, documentation of welds where your quality system requires it.

Qualifications and certificates

The welder qualification test to EN ISO 9606-1 proves that the welder has been tested in a specific process, material group, thickness range (plate or pipe) and welding position. The profile states exactly what the certificate covers – process (135, 141, 111), material group, positions, validity and the issuing test body. If your quality system (e.g. EN 1090) requires a certificate from a specific test body or a different range, we say so openly and organise the test before the welder travels.

  • EN ISO 9606-1 certificateWhere your job requires it – with process, material group, positions, validity and test body in the profile. You see in advance whether range and issuer fit your application.
  • ExperienceIn years and typical industries: structural steel, vessel construction, mechanical engineering, shipbuilding.
  • MaterialsUnalloyed structural steel, fine-grain steel, stainless steel, aluminium where experience exists.
  • Drawings and WPSReading drawings, weld symbols, working to welding procedure specifications.
  • Languages and A1Language level in the profile. The A1 certificate is applied for before the start; you receive a copy.

How we test

  1. 1Technical interview

We talk to every welder about processes, materials, positions and working to drawings – led by people who have stood in the workshop themselves.

  2. 2Document check

Certificate: issuer, range, validity and confirmations. Plus ID, work history, previous employers.

  3. 3Weld test

Before the first deployment the welder welds a test piece in the required process and position. Anyone who cannot produce a clean weld is not presented.

  4. 4Work sample at your plant

In temporary staffing, on request, a work sample to your WPS on the first day at your plant. If it does not fit, our replacement within 3 working days applies – at no extra charge. Under a works contract we test the welds ourselves to your WPS and document the result – you accept the work.

Example deployment

An illustrative example, not a real customer situation. Working days counted from your confirmation of the offer.

A steel fabricator has taken on a large order and needs four additional MAG welders in two shifts for six months. Required: EN ISO 9606-1, process 135, structural steel, fillet welds in positions PB and PF, reading drawings.

  • Day 01

Request via the form – welders, 3–5 people, immediately, 3–6 months, location given, under notes “135, structural steel, PB/PF, 2 shifts”.

  • Working day 12

Offer with hourly rate (with everything it includes), contract form temporary staffing, start 5 to 10 working days after confirmation. The company confirms the same day – working day 0.

  • Working days 1–33

Five profiles – all with certificate 135, weld tests passed at our site. The company selects four.

  • Working days 3–84

Employment contracts, A1 certificates, accommodation 15 minutes from the plant with minibus to the shift, arrival the evening before.

  • Working day 95

Start. Safety briefing by the company, the site lead translates. Work sample to the plant WPS in the morning, work on the line in the afternoon.

  • Ongoing6

Timesheet signed weekly by the foreman, one invoice per month.

  • After three weeks7

One welder does not fit the shift team. One call – replacement with profile in advance, on site after 3 working days, at no extra charge.

Frequently asked questions about welders

Do all welders have an EN ISO 9606-1 certificate?

Where your job requires it, yes – and the range is stated in the profile. For work that does not require a certified test, we present experienced welders who have passed our weld test. We clarify which certificates you need before the offer.

Can the welders work to my WPS?

Yes. Reading and following welding procedure specifications is part of the profile. Send us your WPS with the request and we base the weld test on it.

Who issues the certificates, and will my EN 1090 operation recognise them?

The issuing test body is stated on every certificate and in the profile. Whether your quality system or your customer requires a specific accreditation, we clarify before the offer – and if needed organise the test at a body you accept before the welder travels.

What about stainless steel, aluminium or pipework?

TIG on stainless steel and pipe is a separate qualification – we state it separately in the profile. We offer aluminium only with corresponding experience and testing. Tell us the material and application and we tell you whether we can deliver.

Who provides the welding machine, consumables and protective equipment?

Welding helmet, protective clothing and gloves are brought by our welders. Welding machine, consumables and gases are provided by you – as for your own staff. Deviations are agreed in the offer.

How does a work sample at our plant work?

In temporary staffing: on the first day the welder welds to your specification; your welding supervisor evaluates. If it does not fit, tell us – replacement within 3 working days, at no extra charge. Under a works contract we test the welds ourselves to your WPS; you accept the work.
